Narelle Hunter (Nel)

Nel has a Diploma in Dru Meditation, is a fully qualified Dru Yoga teacher, is a Mindful Lifestyle Coach and is a mother of four daughters. “I have been married 24yrs and we have a farm near Young NSW and a Creative Studio Space in Woollahra, Sydney. The flow between city and country living feels absolutely wonderful.”Nel explains.

Having achieved a 3 yr Diploma in Dru Meditation, Narelle began working with cancer patients, together with those managing injury, illness or trauma. “This is the most rewarding work I have ever done in my life. We discuss mindful lifestyle strategies, personal fitness goals, modified yoga postures and progress through a Meditation Program designed to enhance a persons ability to focus, calm emotions, improve digestion and immune function, increase energy levels and become mentally strong and calm.”

As a mother of four daughters Narelle believes yoga and meditation is not something we have to find extra time for, “It is the way I treat my body and where I choose to focus my mind daily.”

After hearing your goals and assessing your health requirements we choose a program to suit your needs.


YOGA FOR FLEXIBILITY – this is a personal 4 week program designed to improve personal posture issues that lead to muscle tension, we work on core strength, spinal health and ultimately flexibility.  It is a great yoga program that gets back to basics. This is important for all students yearly. All levels of fitness welcome.


BREATH AWARENESS – this is a 4 week program where you have the opportunity to learn how to remain calm when under pressure or stressed, thanks to the breath. They are incredibly simple techniques that can be life changing, often described as ’empowering information.’


DISCOVERING MINDFULNESS – a 4 week exploration of mindful living taught by Nel Hunter who has enjoyed focusing on the present moment each and every day. “I have lots of energy, motivation, my memory is so much better these days and I see what matters most in my life. Its a lovely way to live, although so much can still be achieved.”


LEARN MEDITATION – this program can progress over many months, depending on your interest in meditation. Ideally we firstly improve your sleeping patterns if needed and develop your ability to concentrate, relax and be still physically, emotionally and mentally. This is a process that takes time but it will be well worth the commitment. The techniques are scientifically proven to have incredible benefits for stress, illness, injury, anxiety and pain.

All private sessions are $150/hr. Ovvio Organics Paddington. Outdoor group sessions and a private workshop booking quote can be requested. “I am happy for small groups to share the cost. 2-3 friends meeting together regularly to learn meditation and yoga is fun. We also discuss personal goals and how to manage any disempowering situations. Together we can encourage each other to excel” Nel explains
