Dru Yoga and Mindfulness


‘Although teaching you meditation is my ultimate goal we may need to begin with the basic principles of yoga and mindfulness. Yoga enhances our experience of our physical bodies, calming the nervous system and regulating neural pathways in the brain so we can self regulate when either stressed or feeling low in motivation.

Mindfulness brings us into the present moment, assisting the pre-frontal cortex of the brain by focusing on the breath and what we ‘can do’ to manage stress, worry, pain or fears.’ Narelle Hunter explains.

As a Dru Yoga, Mindfulness and fully qualified Meditation Teacher Narelle can  assess the most affective approach to learning meditation. Weekly private appointments are recommended over a 6-10 week period for best results.
